2017

  • On 11th Feb. 2017, Karl Yang had been invited as a Musical director and conductor for "Heavenly Love" The 4th International Marriage & Family Festival"  at Sydney International Convention Centre.

2016

  • On 10th Dec. 2016, Karl Yang had been invited by world class conductor ZHENG XIAOYING, has to organized a Hwa Sheng Choir in Sydney to performed "The Echoed Of Hakka's Earth Buildings" with The Fujian Symphony Orchestra Australia Tour at Sydney Town Hall.
  • On 26th Nov.2016, "Talent Concert" was a very successful concert, organized by Karlyang Music Education Centre.
  • On 3rd September 2016, The "Hallelujah Praise" Concert was held at St Stephen's Uniting Church of Sydney,  It was a very successful concert, Karl conducted Canaan Christian Music Ministry Choir.
  • On 8-17th March 2016, Karl Yang had been invited to conduct Russian Philharmonic Orchestra and Russian National Choir for recording of the Movie music of "Missionary", in Moscow.
  • On 14th Feb. 2016, Karl Yang had been conducted "Defending Yellow River" and "My Motherland" at Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

2015

  • On 27th Nov. 2015, Karl Yang had been conducted "Yellow River Cantata" at The Verbrugghen Hall at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. It was a very successful concert. 
  • On 15th August 2015, Karl Yang had been conducted Sydney Canaan Choir for Zhang Bo Li's Sermon "The Love Of The Cross", at The Wesley Mission Centre in Sydney. 
  • On 15th August 2015,Commemorating 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and World Anti-Fascist War. The concert was held at Sydney Opera House. Organized by Ausfeng Group and Australia Soong Chingling Fundation. Karl Yang Conducted China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater Chorus. Performed three Choral Works, the Concert were a great success.
  • On 14th August 2015, Karl Yang had been conducted Sydney Canaan Choir for Zhang Bo Li's Sermon "The Love Of The Cross", at The Presbyterian Church of Sydney. 

2014

  • On 16th August 2014, Karl Yang had been conducted Australia Yellow River Chorus with Chinese famous singer Han Lei,  permormed at Sydney Town Hall.
  • On 30th July 2014, Karl Yang had been conducted Australia Yellow River Chorus with Sydney Conerstone Chamber Orchestra at Sydney Opera House performed three world classics: Gloria by Vivaldi, Humming Chorus and Nessun Dorma from Opera Madama Butterfly and Turandot music by Giacomo Puccini Arranged by Karl Yang. The concert were a great success.
  • On 22th March 2014, Karl Yang had been conducted The Heavenly Song Concert at Sydney Town Hall. It was a very successful concert. Concerts organized by the China Soul for Christ foundation. The Sydney Canaan Choir of 180 Voices.
  • On 11th February 2014, Karl Yang had been conducted The Hwa Sheng Choir for Night of Australia-China Concert in the Chinese Culture Festival in Sydney at Sydney Opera House.

2013

  • On 25th August 2013, the Voice of the Yellow River Philharmonic Concert was held at The Verbrugghen Hall at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. It was a very successful concert, Karl conducted Australia Yellow River Philharmonic Chorus with the talents of China Xi'an Conservatorium of Music. Program includes solo voice, duets and chorus repertoire, piano trio, accordion with drums etc. 
  • On 25th May 2013The Heavenly Voice Concerts was held at The Concourse Concert Hall. It was two very successful Concerts. Sydney Canaan Choir sang 12 Hymns conducted by Karl Yang, accompanied by New Wine Misson and Canaan Orchestra.
  • On 24th Feb. 2013, Conductor Karl Yang had been invited by RTV to conducted five Chorus Songs, sang by Australian Yellow River Philharmonic Choir, for Lantern Festival Concert at Burwood RSL Club in Sydney.
  • On 10th Feb. 2013, Conductor Karl Yang had been conducted seven chorus songs for Chinese New Year Spring Festival Show, at Balmore Park in Sydney.  

2012

  • On 23rd September 2012, Karl Yang had been conducted The Australia Sydney Hwa Sheng Chorus 36th Anniversary Concert in Verbrugghen Hall at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. They Performed 20+ songs.
  • On 22nd June 2012, Karl Yang had been invited by RTV to conducted The Australia Yellow River Philharmonic Chorus, they Performed two songs. 
  • On 17th June 2012, Karl Yang had been conducted The Heavenly Song Concert at Sydney Opera House. It was a very successful concert. Concerts organized by the China Soul for Christ foundation. The Sydney Canaan Choir of 300 Voices and Sydney Canaan Philharmonic Orchestra of 80 player, They performed 24 Hymns conposed by Mrs. Xiao Min and Mr. An-Lun Huang.
  • On 19th May. 2012, Conductor Karl Yang had been invited by International Global Vision Australia to conducted four songs in diffrent language, performed by Hwa Sheng Chorus, at the Concourse Concert Hall Chatswood for 2012 Sydney World Peace Arts Festival - Multicultural Choir Festival.
  • On 24th Feb. 2012, Conductor Karl Yang had been invited by ACCA to conducted three Chinese Songs, sang by Australian Yellow River Philharmonic Choir, for ACCA Spring Festival Show in Celebration of Diplomatic Relations between Australia and China of the 40th Year.
  • On 28th Jan. 2012, Conductor Karl Yang had been invited by AUSCOCO to conducted the Australian and Chinese National Anthem, for Australian Chinese Community and Friends Celebrate Australia Day & Chinese New Year Gala Banquet.
  • On 22nd Jan. 2012, Conductor Karl Yang had been conducted five songs for Chinese New Year Concert, at Balmore Park in Sydney.

2011

  • On 5th Dec. 2011, Conductor Karl Yang had been invited by Charming Voice Music World Association to conducted the Hong Kong choir which performed famous choral works.
  • On 26th November 2011, conducted the "Penghu Choral Concert" in Penghu Island of Taiwan.
  • On 17th and 24th September 2011, Conducted the "Heavenly Blessing" Music Outreach Concert. 
  • On 16th September, 2011 , Karl Conducted Fujian Association of Commerce and Industry Fellowship Choir, performing in a concert celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day.They sang two choral works, include " Mid-Autumn Moon " Lyrics by HongKang Yang, Music by Karl Yang and the Chinese folk song "Flowers and Young ".
  • On 13th August 2011, Karl Yang conducted "Yellow River Cantata" with The Yellow River Philharmonic Chorus,The Chorus of Fujian Chamber of Commerce and ST. George Choir.
  • On 28th July 2011, Karl was interviewed by 2AC and 2CR radio station about the history of  “Yellow River Cantata”.
  • On 21st June 2011, Karl was interviewed by the SBS radio station about his coming concert in Sydney Town Hall.
  • On May 14th 2011, Karl Yang conducted Australia Good Friends Chamber Choir and Hwa Sheng Chorus  in "Ode To Joy Classical Choral Concert" at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The program includes 13 classical chorus Works, accompanied by Violin, Cello, Harp, two Pianos and Organ. 
  • On February 17th 2011, Karl conducted Australia Yellow River Philharmonic Chorus  in Verbrugghen Hall at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The program includes a mixed chorus "Dance of Youth" and "A Wanderer's Nostalgia" .
  • On January 6th 2011, Conductor Karl Yang and his son George (cellist) had been invited by Charming Voice Music World Association to perform in the Gala Variety Concert, celebrating 2011New Year and the Association's 2nd Anniversary. Karl rehearsed and conducted the combined Hong Kong choir which performed "Ode to Joy" from the 9th symphony by Beethoven, and other famous choral works.
2010
  • On December 29th 2010, Karl was invited to speak in a choral masterclass by China state Grid, Yantai Penglai Powersupply company's chorus.
  • On 25th and 26th December 2010, Karl conducted the Christmas Concert in China.  
  • On December 14th 2010, Karl was invited to speak in a choral masterclass by China Shangdong philharmonic choir.
  • On November 20th 2010, Karl conducted Hwa Sheng chorus in the Wesley Christmas Concert. The program includes "Halellujah" and "Merry Christmas, Mozart" by Mozart, "Glory to God" by Gershwin Ma and Indonisian folk song "Ayo Mama" arranged by Karl Yang.
  • On September 19,  2010 , Karl Conducted Fujian Association of Commerce and Industry Fellowship Choir, performing in a concert celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day.They sang three choral works, include " Raise a glass! Friends " " Moon Song " " Love My China ".
  • On August 19th 2010, Karl was invited to speak by ShangDong Penglai TV's weekend talk show. The titile of the interview is called "The Conductor who walked out of PengLai".
  • On August 10-14, 2010 Karl Yang led Australian Hwa Sheng Chorus to Beijing Chinese Theater and the Beijing Concert hall to attend the "China Fourth (Dong Zhou Cup) International Chinese Choral Festival". The Hwa Sheng Chorus will sing four songs, including an according Indonesian folk song "Ayo, Mom" which was arranged four-part mixed voices chorus by Conductor Karl Yang. They won the prize of excellence,and performed in the closing ceremony.
  • July 24 2010, Conducted the "Joy and Peace" Music Outreach Concert. 
  • July 11 2010, to participate in the "four famous Chinese Classical Novels, Ms.Wan Shan Hong Symphony Concert" performed in Sydney Opera House , Karl was conductor as the number of choir rehearsals in Sydney.
  • May 16, 2010 - Conduct the “ The Good Friends Chamber Choir Fifth Anniversary Concert<<Melody of Movie and Opera>> ” in Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music  

2009

  • November 10, 2009, Music Association of Auckland invited as guests to attend the "Yellow River Cantata" in the largest city of Auckland, New Zealand premiere.
  • September 20, 2009, conducted the celebration of Chinese motherland 60th birthday concert, in the North Sydney Theatre, Sydney,
  • June 27 and July 4 2009, Conducted the "Glorious Grace" Music Outreach Concert.  
  • April 4, 2009 - Conduct the [The Sound of Music]  The Good Friends Chamber Choir Concert In Auckland Baptist Tabernacle Church.  429 Queen St. Auckland  New Zealand

2008

  • November 7th 2008, Hwa Sheng Chorus was invited by The Nangyang Music Arts Association of Singapore to perform at Nanyang Institute of Arts Concert Hall in Singapore. They hosted the "Singaporean/Australian Winter Songs".
  • September 5th 2008, Karl Yang conducted the Fujian Association of Commerce and Industry Fellowship Choir, performing in the concert for the Celebration of the National Day, Post-Olympic Celebration and Moon Festival Celebration. They sang two choral works which include "I wish you peace" and "One World, One Dream."
  • August 30, 2008. Conducted the "Home Sweet Home" Music Outreach Concert. 
  • August 3rd 2008, 2:30 p.m., Karl conducted in a concert  with The Good Friends Chamber Choir at the Gosford Chinese Performing Arts Centre to celebrate the Beijing Olympic Games.
  • June 28th 2008, Karl conducted the Australian Hwa Sheng Chorus in Auburn RSL Club, performing in "Disaster Relief Concert" to raise money for victims of the Chinese earthquake and victims of the Myanmar cyclone.
  • June 8th 2008, Karl conducted the Australian Good Friends Chamber Choir in Hurstville Vivic Centre, organized by the Chinese/Australian Musicians Association in yet another “Disaster Relief Concert” for the Sichuan earthquake.
  • March 9, 2008, at the Verbrugghen Hall of Sydney Conservatorium of Music, as a conductor, presents " The Good Friends Chamber Choir third Anniversary Concert"

2007

  • 2007, Karl conducted Good Friends Chamber Choir whom participated in the "Sydney Chinese Arts Festival" concert. The performance included “It’s Me” and a cappella "Mirage" which was composed by Karl Yang using contemporary techniques on a mixed Choir.
  •  2007, Karl conducted the Hwa Sheng Chorus whom participated in the "Sydney Chinese Arts Festival" concert. The performance included "Good Songs For You," and "Alleluia," by Mozart.
  • November 18, 2007 - Conduct the [The Music Of The Night Concert]  in Independent Theatre 269 Miller Street North Sydney NSW, Perfomed by The Good Friends Chamber Choir.
  • November 10th 2007, conducted by the Hwa Sheng Chorus in “Charity Concert for the elderly” They performed Choral works including two songs "ah, China's land" and "Miles surging river never leave" both arranged by Karl Yang.
  • September 19th 2007, Karl conducted Fujian Association of Commerce and Industry Fellowship Choir, performing in a concert celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day. They sang two choral works include "Moon’s Homeland" and "Night Song of Yao Mountain"
  • July 28,29, 2007, Conducted the "Amazing Grace Music Outreach Concert" 
  • May 29th 2007, Karl conducted Hwa Sheng Chorus which performed in Taiwan. This concert was organized by the Kaohsiung City Cultural Center in "Taiwan exchange concert."
  • May 26th 2007, Karl conducted Australian Hwa Sheng Chorus and Taiwan Youth Lion Chorus performed in "The Beauty of Yushan" concert, held in Taipei. 

2006

  • November 17, 2006 - Conduct the [A Poetic Journey Downunder Concert]  in the Willoughby Civic Centre Tonw Hall 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood NSW. Perform with Hwa Sheng Chorus and Vancouver Chinese Choir Association.
  • July 1 2006, Conducted the "Heavenly Way Music Outreach Concert" 
  • April 1 2006, participate "Celebration of Word & Sing" concert performed in Sydney Town Hall.
2005
  • August 2,3, 2005. Conducted the Choir in Zhiming Yuan's "Music Outreach Concert" 
  • July 17 2005, CCTV Program broadcasted Karl Yang Conducting 'The Great Wall Balled' at the Concert Hall of Sydney Opera House.
  • April 9 2005,  Conducted the "Heavenly Light Music Outreach Concert" 
  • March 12, 2005, participate "Celebration of Word & Sing" concert performed in Sydney Town Hall.

  • June 29, 2002 - Artistic Director and Conduct the “ Sounds of Yellow River ” Concert in the Salvation Army Sydney Auditorium

2001

  • January 20, 2001 - Take part in the Chinese Cultural performance in Darwin 
  • February 3, 2001 - Take part in the performance of Chinese New Year Party held by Cherry brook Chinese community, the minister of Immigration Department and his wife, the vice-consul of Chinese consulate also took part of the party. At the same time, several newspapers such as “Australian Chinese Daily”, “A. C. Weekly” and “the Independence Daily”, acknowledged my contribution to Chinese Society.
  • March 28 2001, Conducted the "Update and Growth Music Outreach Concert" in Sydney Metro Chirstian Church.
  • April 8, 2001 - Take part in the performance of Yellow River Chorus and Cherry Brook Chinese Community’s musical party
  • May 26, 2001 - Elected as international volunteer to assist migrants and refugees to settle into the community
  • June 23, 2001 - Direct and conduct the “2001 Chinese Choral Concert.
  • August 20, 2001 - Engaged as an adjudicator of Choral competition of China – Penglai “Ode to Peace” international Youngster’s Cultural and Artistic Festival.

2000

  • January 15, 2000 - Perform in Chinese New Year’s evening party
  • February 4, 2000 - Invited to take part in the Chinese New Year’s Party held in the Chinese embassy in Sydney
  • February 6, 2000 - Conduct the classical Chinese music “Yellow River Cantata” in Sydney Opera House (Beethoven Society Symphony Orchestra of Australia incorporated with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra of Australia)
  • April 15, 2000 - Perform in the 10th Annual Party of Chinese Migrant Welfare Association and 
  • September 12, 2000 - Conduct both of Chinese and Australia national anthem on the welcome ceremony of Chinese Olympic term’s arrival
  • September 20, 2000 - Compose the song “the Torch – from Olympia to Sydney” for Chinese Olympic athletes, and it was recorded as CD in SBS Chinese Channel, then was played over and over again which result in a delightful feedback

1998

  • June 1998 - Second Prize for theses writing (national wide)
  • September 1998 - The theses was published in the book “Collection of theses in the art of education”
  • September 26, 1998 - To be the conductor of the celebration concert for Chinese National Day (49th) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jinan.
  • October 1998 - Second prize from National “The Red Setting Sun” TV program choral competition for elder people (as a Conductor)

1997

  • July 1997 - Edit and published the book “Collection of International Choral Music” Vol. 2 , three published theses prized national excellence
  • November 1997 - Winner of the “Shandong Province Chorus Festival II” (as a conductor)
  • December 1997 - Prized as the most outstanding conductor in Shandong province
  • December 28, 1997 - To be the conductor of Shandong New Year’s Choral concert

1996

  • March 1996 - Composed the title music for the educational TV channel in Jinan City
  • July 1996 - To be the director and conductor of a big concert “Monument Ode”
  • October 1996 - Winner of Shandong province Tertiary teachers’ colleges Music (Piano, singing and dance) Competition

1995

  • August 1995 - To be the conductor in the big concert for celebrating the 50th anniversary of France’s Victory

  • January 1994 - The Creative song prized as national excellent choral musical work
  • April 16, 1994 - Karl Yang conducted in the Concert of China – UK international conference on adult education.Performed by Chorus of Department of Music Shandong Teacher's University

  • September 1994 - Based on the remarkable contribution in working for Choral conducting, a title of “Excellent chorus worker” was given.

1992

  • January 7, 1992 - Winner of provincial song composition competition
  • September 1992 - The creative song was collected in the in book “Art Educational publications – Collection of Primary and Secondary students’ favorite Songs”

1991
  • September 1991- Received  the Excellent Conductor's Award in "The Homeland in My Heart Choral Competition".

1989

  • September 1989 - To be the conductor in a big celebration party for Chinese National day, which is held by soldiers and young adults in Shandong’s capital city
  • October 1989 - Special Prize for conducting both students and soldiers to chorus in the Choral concert “Love to your Party, to your Country and to your Army”
  • 1989 - Prized as a “Excellent Tutor” for the choral competition “I have my mother land in my heart” 

1988

  • September 1988 - To be the founder of a Jazz class, wrote the textbook for the class and taught more than 100 students

1987

  • October 1987 - Played viola in a Symphony Orchestra conducted by the famous conductor Mr. Yan Liangkun to play “Yellow River Cantata” and “Beethoven Symphony No. 9”, which consisted 1500 people
  • December 1987 - To be the conductor of the winner of the choral competition in Tertiary colleges in Shandong
